By accessing or using LanePrep (https://laneprep.com), operated by LeakShield Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service. LeakShield Technologies LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company located at 522 W Riverside Ave #7606, Spokane, WA 99201.
LanePrep is an audio-first exam preparation web application for U.S. state insurance license exams (currently property and casualty and life and health courses for several states). The service includes audio lessons, practice quizzes, spaced repetition tools, and study guides.
LanePrep is supplementary study material only. It is not an official pre-licensing course and does not satisfy any state-mandated pre-licensing education requirements. You must complete your required pre-licensing hours through an approved provider separately.
Access to LanePrep is granted through a token-based authentication system. When you purchase LanePrep, you receive a unique access token linked to your email address. This token grants you personal, non-transferable access to the service.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details.
Pass Guarantee: If you do not pass your exam, you keep access to the course you bought for as long as the retake takes, and monthly billing is paused. The guarantee covers the state licensing exam that your purchased course prepares for, sat after the date of purchase.
What a claim needs: your official score report from the exam vendor (Pearson VUE, PSI or Prometric, depending on the state), showing your name, the exam, the date and the result, uploaded on the page linked from our exam follow-up email or sent by reply to that email. The exam must have been sat within 180 days of purchase and the claim made within 30 days of the exam date. One claim per customer. For purchases made on or after October 17, 2026 we also ask that the course was used before the exam: at least 150 practice questions answered in your account. Purchases before that date are covered under the terms in force when they were made.
What you get: Monthly Access subscribers are not charged again while they prepare for the retake and keep their access; monthly plans are not eligible for a cash refund. Pass Package customers may instead request a full refund of the $79 purchase price (we absorb the payment-processing fee). Once a refund is issued, access to the course ends. We review every claim personally within two business days and tell you the reason if one cannot be approved.
All content on LanePrep — including but not limited to audio lessons, quiz questions, study guides, scripts, and design elements — is the property of LeakShield Technologies LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any LanePrep content without our prior written consent.
LanePrep is licensed for personal study use only. You agree not to:
LanePrep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeakShield Technologies LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LanePrep. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for access to LanePrep.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of LanePrep shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Wyoming.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of LanePrep after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
