1. Introduction

LeakShield Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates LanePrep (https://laneprep.com), an audio-first exam prep web application for the Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

LeakShield Technologies LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company located at 522 W Riverside Ave #7606, Spokane, WA 99201.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Email address — provided to us by Stripe when you complete a purchase. We use this solely to associate your purchase with your account.
• Quiz progress data — your quiz answers, scores, and spaced repetition data are stored in our database (SQLite) to track your learning progress.
• Usage data — we collect anonymized usage data through Google Analytics 4, including pages visited, session duration, and general device/browser information.
• Session interaction data — we use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized session replays (mouse movement, clicks, scroll behavior) and aggregate heatmaps so we can diagnose user-experience friction. Text you type into form fields (including your email address and any payment information) is automatically masked and never recorded.

We do not collect passwords. Our authentication system is token-based only.

3. How We Use Information

• Service delivery — to provide access to audio lessons, quizzes, and track your study progress.
• Analytics — to understand how users interact with LanePrep so we can improve the experience.
• Product improvement — to identify areas where content or features can be enhanced.

4. Cookies & Tracking

LanePrep uses the following tracking technologies:

• Google Analytics 4 — for anonymized usage analytics. GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions.
• Google Ads tag — for conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
• Microsoft Clarity — for anonymized session replays and heatmaps used to identify usability issues. Clarity uses first-party cookies and similar technologies. Form inputs are masked by default and not recorded. See Microsoft's privacy statement for details.
• Session storage — used locally in your browser to maintain your session state. This data never leaves your device.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies beyond Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, CVV, or other payment card details. Stripe provides us only with your email address and a confirmation of your purchase. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing as described above.
• Google Analytics & Google Ads — for anonymized usage data and ad-conversion measurement as described in Section 4.
• Microsoft Clarity — for anonymized session-replay and heatmap data as described in Section 4. Data is processed by Microsoft Corporation under their privacy statement.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data (email and access token) for the duration of your subscription or lifetime access. Quiz progress data is retained while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove all associated personal data within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data and account.
• Opt-out — disable Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity tracking by using browser-based opt-out tools, the Microsoft Clarity opt-out at clarity.microsoft.com/optout, or any standard ad blocker.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information:

• The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
• The right to request deletion of your personal information.
• The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
• The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

10. Children's Privacy

LanePrep is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of LanePrep after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
